Manager, Legal – Commercial ⚖️

Are you an experienced Commercial Lawyer with a strong track record of managing high-value EPCC contracts in the Oil & Gas industry? We are seeking a Manager, Legal – Commercial to provide strategic legal support on complex commercial transactions and drive sound business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and administer high-value commercial contracts, including EPCC, procurement, joint venture, financing, technology licensing, production sharing, and off-take agreements.
- Provide legal advice on commercial, financial, operational, regulatory, and contractual risks while delivering practical business-focused solutions.
- Lead contract negotiations with customers, vendors, business partners, regulators, and financing institutions.
- Manage claims, change orders, liquidated damages, warranties, dispute resolution, and contract governance.
Requirements
- LL.B. degree and qualified to practice law.
- Minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm or corporate organization.
- Proven experience as a Contracts & Procurement Lawyer supporting large-scale EPCC projects valued at USD 100 million or more.
- Extensive Oil & Gas industry experience across Upstream, Midstream, Downstream, Petrochemicals, Fertilizers, or related sectors.
- Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, advocacy, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate complex legal issues into practical business advice.
